Description:

A small figure of a woman, shaped from tinted loam and burnished by hand until the surface shines. The technique draws on dorodango, the Japanese craft of polishing balls of earth to a high gloss. The title refers to Eve, the first woman: Je – Eva is the artist’s first sculpture.
